Here we are again, back-to-back after last week’s wonderful Arts and Crafts in Pasadena. Now we move to Upland and are excited to present another completely different yet quite wonderful estate liquidation.

The very special estate has been owned by the family for 100 years. It is an incredible property–the home is situated on 2 1/2 acres of old grove citrus trees, right in the middle of the city! The home is loaded with all sorts of wonderful eclectic treasures. This family lived around the world… for many years they resided in Hong Kong, where most of the Chinese fine art and objects were purchased. From travels and through time, they collected and throughout the home are many family heirlooms–all of which makes for a fun and rewarding treasure hunt!

WANT FIRST ENTRY?  If you want to get on our first entry line up list, it is simple, you just have to text me with your full name and any others that want to be on the list with you. Text me at 951.316.0429. And you must be there before 8:30 am to get lined up properly in the order of the list.

There is a lot to discover and just a partial list includes:

Two fine art oil paintings by highly regarded Chinese artists Mian Situ, and Zhiwei Tu. Other noted artists include oils by Margaret Holland Sargent, Mario Cano and others. Plus, we have signed posters and lithographs by Claes Oldenburg and Phil Paradise.

And here was a fun find, a rare early computer… a Hewlett Packard Personal Integral Computer. This computer is considered the first “portable” computer system, with even a built in printer. It is in mint condition… I was told by the family that it was a gift, and was never used! Comes complete with all the cords, mouse, and original carrying case! If you are into these early collectable computers then this is a definite find.

Another wonderful discovery was a large set of World War 2 inspirational posters in mint condition, having never been put up (They are even in original War Department envelopes!). These include the 4 Freedoms, and 11 others, very eye catching posters and quite the piece of history.

There is a wealth of beautiful finds. We are also featuring a rare and wonderful late Ching dynasty 8-panel carved screen that is a very rare example of this incredible craftsmanship. There are a number of other quality and decorative pieces of furniture; other Chinese cabinets, circa early 1880’s shaker cabinet, a full 1920’s French bedroom set and many more.

Check out the huge vintage nativity scene, vintage maps of all sorts, vintage Christmas items, vintage hats and linens, vintage patio sets, photos, an over 300-year old African bowl, a large assortment of antique books, old orchard equipment (even an intact barn door!), vintage lamps and lighting and a whole lot more!!

Please take some time and scroll through my photos. Lots of fun stuff to see…over 350 images on our UPLAND ESTATE SALES LISTING.

Our prices are always fair, and we run a fun sale. The sale opens at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and then again at 9am on Sunday. We’ll see you then!
