Well, here we are with a super follow-up to our successful and phenomenal “Barn of Wonders” sale in Glendora. We had a HUGE turnout and thank you all for coming. This upcoming sale we have decided to add to the Wonder category and are calling it the “Garage of Wonders!”
Located in a very fine East Pasadena neighborhood, this estate’s ginormus collection of tools is by far the most of ANY estate sale that I have done in a very, very long time. Machines, hand tools, mechanical tools, electrical… there is quite a bit.
There are some excellent mid-century furniture sets in fine condition, these are extremely popular and very much in fashion–we expect these to move fast. There is a really beautiful mid-century bedroom set, comprising of a low dresser, tall dresser, night stand, and matching twin beds. And another bedroom set with a black lacquer mid-century Henredon low dresser, two night stands, and matching king headboard. There is also another huge dining room set, a custom 10ft table with 10 chairs! (Designer alert… check out the name Paul McCobb and you will be very impressed by the collectibility of his designs and furniture. This set was done for the Winchendon furniture company in Massachusetts)
You will enjoy the beautiful paintings and wall art–including a fantastic and large original oil painting by Melville Paul Simon. And very much worth mentioning are the attractive matching painted Chinese panels (a set of two panels).
And it is a big home, with that big garage, so there is truly a ton of all the other “household everything!” Along with all the tools, there had to be places to keep them so we have cabinets of all sorts, shapes and size. Plus file cabinets, mid-century steel office furniture, a huge mix of project supplies and just an overabundance and bonanza of everything–many of the items are still NEW IN THE BOX!!! Save a trip to Lowe’s or the Home Depot and get some real quality items at our 2-day blowout sale.

Our selection will be massive and our pricing will be awesome. Saturday is your top choice and selection day and come on back Sunday for the “wheeling and dealing.”
